ELCO burner service in Warsaw
Diagnostics, maintenance and commissioning support for selected ELCO gas, oil and dual-fuel forced-draught burners.
Burner service based on measurements and the complete firing system
I service selected ELCO forced-draught burners used on commercial boilers, technological heating equipment and larger property systems. Burner work is arranged around the exact model, fuel, output range, control sequence and the boiler or process it serves.
A stable burner requires more than a clean nozzle or a successful reset. Air supply, fuel pressure, ignition, flame monitoring, actuator movement, combustion values, boiler draught and safety interlocks must operate as one system. I document the condition found and explain the next practical step.
ELCO burner service – scope
Planned maintenance
Cleaning and inspection of the burner head, electrodes, flame sensor, fan, air path and accessible fuel components, adapted to the burner type.
Fault diagnosis
Checks of the start sequence, interlocks, ignition, fuel supply, flame signal, servomotors and control inputs before components are replaced.
Combustion setup
Flue-gas measurements and adjustment of air and fuel within the correct procedure and the available burner load range.
Operational review
Assessment of boiler demand, modulation, cycling, draught, plant controls and conditions that may make a healthy burner unstable.

ELCO models and installations considered
Requests commonly involve selected ELCO Vectron, VG, VGL and VL burner families, including gas, light-oil and selected dual-fuel arrangements. Exact service scope depends on output, burner controller, gas train, fuel equipment and access to the boiler room.
Before booking, send the complete burner data plate, controller type, fuel, approximate output and photographs of the whole burner-boiler assembly. For a production process, describe what the burner heats and whether shutdown is planned or unplanned.

Common ELCO burner problems
The burner stops during pre-purge
Air-pressure proving, fan operation, damper position, servomotor feedback or an interlock may interrupt the sequence before ignition is attempted.
Ignition occurs but the flame is not retained
Flame detection, electrode position, fuel pressure, gas-valve timing, ignition quality and grounding can all influence the transition to stable firing.
The burner locks out intermittently
Intermittent faults may follow load, temperature, vibration or control demand. A record of when the lockout occurs is often as valuable as the displayed code.
Combustion values drift
Air settings, fuel pressure, burner-head condition, draught, contamination or mechanical play can change combustion across the modulation range.
Excessive cycling
Boiler controls, process demand, burner minimum output, temperature differentials and plant hydraulics may cause repeated starts even when the burner itself is serviceable.
Noise or vibration
Fan condition, air turbulence, ignition behaviour, mounting and the combustion chamber should be assessed. Do not continue operating a burner with a new violent vibration.

Work planned around plant operation
A planned visit starts with safe shutdown, identification of the burner and a review of service history. Accessible combustion components are cleaned and inspected, while electrodes, sensors, fan condition, actuators and visible fuel components are checked. The boiler, flue and safety circuit are considered part of the firing system.
After reassembly, the burner is tested through the available operating stages. Combustion readings are taken and settings are documented. For modulating systems, one reading at a single point is not enough; the behaviour across the practical load range matters.
Information needed before an ELCO visit
Burner identity
Send a readable data plate and the control-box designation. Do not rely only on the colour or external shape.
Plant details
State the fuel, boiler or process, approximate output, number of burners and whether another heat source is available.
Fault history
Photograph the lockout indication and note the stage of the sequence, recent maintenance and any fuel-supply work.
Do not bypass burner interlocks
Gas pressure switches, air proving, flame safeguards, thermostats and limit controls exist to stop unsafe operation. Do not bridge them or repeatedly reset a burner that locks out.
If there is a gas or fuel smell, visible smoke, flame instability, overheating or violent vibration, shut the system down safely and follow the site’s emergency procedure. Plant-room access and authorisation must be arranged before the visit.

Direct technical communication
I am Janusz, an independent heating and burner engineer with many years of field experience and qualifications for gas and electrical work. I use professional combustion and electrical measuring equipment and discuss the planned scope before the visit.
This is independent post-warranty service, not an ELCO-authorised factory centre. Warranty work should be directed to the authorised network. Fiscal documents and a VAT invoice are available. Guide prices for standard work are on the English prices page; larger burner work is quoted according to scope.
ELCO burner service area
I work in Warsaw and throughout much of Mazovia. Commercial or process-burner visits are planned individually according to travel, access, burner output and the expected duration of shutdown.
Send technical photographs and the site location first. This allows me to confirm whether the burner is within scope and what instruments, spares or additional time may be needed.
ELCO burner service FAQ
Do you service gas and oil ELCO burners?
Selected gas, oil and dual-fuel models are within scope after the full data plate and installation have been reviewed.
Can you adjust a modulating burner?
Selected modulating systems can be checked and adjusted across their practical load range, subject to controller access and plant conditions.
Can a lockout code identify the failed part?
It usually identifies the stage that failed. Electrical, fuel, air and flame checks are still needed before a component is condemned.
Do you work on process equipment?
Selected applications can be considered. Explain the process, temperature range, operating schedule and shutdown constraints.
How often should a commercial burner be serviced?
The interval depends on fuel, operating hours, environment and legal or insurance requirements. Many plants use at least an annual plan.
Are you authorised by ELCO?
No. I provide independent post-warranty service. Manufacturer warranty work belongs to the authorised network.
