Hot water changes from warm to cold

Only the shower is affected
State whether other taps work normally. Flow restriction or a local mixing valve can imitate a boiler hot-water fault.
The fault appears after several minutes
Note the elapsed time, temperature change and whether the burner stops. This can reveal overheating or unstable sensing.
The controller shows demand but the boiler stays off
Controller communication, schedules, wiring and boiler-side inputs can be checked as one signal path.
Send the model and the full symptom
Photograph the data plate, display code, boiler and controller. Describe heating and hot water separately, and mention pressure changes, noises or water leakage. A short video can be useful for an intermittent sound.
Do not open the casing yourself. If you smell gas, close the supply if safe, ventilate without operating electrical switches and call the emergency gas service. If water reaches electrical parts, switch the boiler off.
